How will this process take place?

Which specialist you need depends, among other things, on whether a diagnosis has already been made in the relevant field. If this is not the case, or you cannot determine the medical direction yourself, we will be happy to advise and assist you in your search. If the diagnosis is made or you know which doctor you need, then you can directly select the right specialist and book his consultation on our platform. If you already have the relevant documents, such as medical reports, x-rays, laboratory test data, etc., please indicate this by checking the appropriate field during the booking process, and we will contact you immediately. Swiss Premium Doctors will translate them into the native language of the specialist consulting you, so that the doctor can prepare for the consultation in advance.
During the online consultation, the doctor will check the diagnosis based on your documents and current complaints and offer you possible treatment options. If the diagnosis is not confirmed, the doctor will tell you what diagnostic tests are necessary. After the consultation, the doctor will write a report, which we will translate for you into your native language, in which the results of the consultation will be summed up, as well as the diagnosis will be made and treatment suggestions with more detailed information will be offered. This report, including confirmation of the need to travel to Switzerland, will be sent to you

Our concierge service will support you and persons that accompany you throughout your stay according to your wishes and needs. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be travel restrictions for tourists.
Can I only book hotels in the upper price range or premium segment?
No, we can help you with booking all categories, from simple family hotels to first-class hotels or villas.
Services and costs
How much does it cost to consult a specialist?
An initial telemedicine or web consultation costs is CHF 1800.– and takes between 30 and 45 minutes. This includes the cost of one time registration and administration, the preliminary translation of all medical documents, translation services during the consultation by an experienced medical interpreter into your native language, and the translation of a Swiss doctor’s medical report. Follow-up consultations (max. 30 minutes) in the presence of a medical interpreter cost 600.– Swiss francs
I have medical reports in my language only.
We are aware of this, and therefore all your documents for a specialist will be translated by qualified translators.
I need help arranging my trip.
Swiss Premium Doctors and its case managers will support you and your accompanying persons with everything you need for your trip or stay in Switzerland. We will also provide support in arranging your visa to travel to Switzerland.
I need individual support, preferably in my native language, during my stay in the hospital.
Our medical case manager will arrange for you an experienced assistant who speaks your language, who will accompany you throughout your stay in the hospital and help you overcome language barriers.
I want to use the VIP service.
Swiss Premium Doctors will arrange premium services that suit your wishes, from VIP service to personal butler service.
What medical services can I order?
Swiss Premium Doctors offers the full range of medical services, from diagnosis to therapy and rehabilitation by leading Swiss doctors. We also offer general and special Checkup programs, such as radiological examinations or organ-specific examinations of the heart and blood vessels.
Will anyone accompany me to an appointment?
The team of medical case managers organizes the patient to be accompanied by an experienced medical interpreter for the initial consultation, post treatment or surgery consultation, as well as during a consultation with a doctor during the discharge from the place of treatment.
Who will be my contact person during my stay in case I need help or have any other requests?
From the moment you arrive and until the completion of treatment and departure, you will be provided with a personal medical case manager who will monitor your entire stay and will be at your disposal for any questions you may have.
How is my data protected and who has access to my personal data?
We guarantee the highest standards of data security that include your personal data. Your medical documents will be sent to an encrypted data server, which is currently used by all Swiss doctors and hospitals. Data is transmitted or forwarded only through this secure network. No person outside this network has access to medical data.
Data protection and confidentiality
How is confidentiality guaranteed?
Swiss Premium Doctors guarantees the highest level of confidentiality. All of our employees and service providers sign a confidentiality agreement and non-disclosure obligations. Violations of this duty are penalized in accordance with criminal law. Doctors, as well as hospital employees, are required to comply with the requirement of the law on non-disclosure of confidential information. If desired, dignitaries and civil servants can be registered under pseudonyms and receive services that are not related to treatment.
